Ravi is the Director of the HACLab. He leads a portfolio in human-algorithm collaboration spanning areas like cancer care, cancer screening, end-of-life care, and readmissions reduction. He enjoys tennis, podcasts, and running (after his kids).

Paramita is the Director of Research Projects at HACLab. She is passionate about precision medicine therapies for cancer, genomics, and computational biology, and is exploring AI-driven modeling in this field. She enjoys painting, working out, and spending time with her daughter.

Ajla Pleho, MPH, is the Clinical Trial Manager with expertise in cancer care delivery, behavioral health, and refugee health. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington. Outside work, she enjoys reading, gardening, and discovering the perfect coffee.

Ashley is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the HACLab. She holds a PhD in Pharmacology from Dalhousie University, with expertise in molecular biology, cardiovascular medicine, and pharmaceutical regulation. Outside of the lab, she enjoys surfing, competitive sailing, and finding new adventures.

Cong is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the HACLab. He holds a PhD in Computer Science, with expertise in natural language processing, large language models, and information extraction. In his free time, he enjoys exploring diverse cultures and spending time with his family.

Anthony is a Statistical Analyst in HEDAP. He is interested in statistical and ML methods for public health research. He is a big film, music and sports fan, and enjoys playing tennis, reading and taking care of his house plants.

Honoka is a data analyst at the HAClab. She holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Georgia Tech. Her work focuses on computational analysis and integration of clinical and genomic datasets. In her free time, she enjoys arts & crafts, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Demetrious “Dee” Flythe provides Administrative Assistant support for our team. In addition, Dee provides Admin Support to several Directors/physicians hear at Emory University. Dee has been a pescatarian for over 20 yrs, she loves to cook and take long walks on the beach as the sun rises as often as possible.
